Terms & Conditions
1. Security Hold:
The Customer authorises Airlie Beach Lounge Hire to place a hold on their credit or debit card for the full replacement value of the hired equipment. This security hold will cover loss, theft, damage, or excessive cleaning if items are not returned in acceptable condition.
2. Condition of Equipment:
All equipment must be returned by the agreed time and in the same clean and working condition it was provided. Equipment returned excessively dirty may incur additional cleaning charges or replacement cost
3. Loss or Damage:
If any item is lost, stolen, damaged, or returned in unacceptable condition (as reasonably determined by Airlie Beach Lounge Hire), the Customer authorises the business to charge the cost of repair or replacement to their nominated credit or debit card.
4. Use of Equipment:
The Customer agrees to use all hired equipment responsibly, for its intended purpose only, and in accordance with any instructions provided. The Customer accepts full responsibility for the equipment during the hire period, including responsibility for any minors using the equipment under their supervision.
5. Personal Belongings:
Airlie Beach Lounge Hire does not accept any responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to the Customer’s personal belongings or valuables left in or around the hired sun lounge area or any other hired equipment.
6. Liability:
Airlie Beach Lounge Hire is not liable for any injury, death, loss, or damage arising from the use or misuse of hired equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, any injury, death, or incident occurring in or around the water at any location where the equipment is used. The Customer acknowledges that they use the equipment at their own risk. Airlie Beach Lounge Hire is not liable for any accident, malfunction, or failure of any equipment that results in injury to persons or damage to property.
7. Property Damage & Indemnity:
The Customer accepts full responsibility for any damage or loss caused by the hired equipment to any other person, property, or belongings during the hire period. The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Airlie Beach Lounge Hire from any legal claims, demands, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) that arise as a result of such damage or loss.
8. Payment:
All hire fees must be paid in full before or at the start of the hire period. The security hold will be released once all hired items are returned in acceptable condition.
9. Agreement:
By checking the box, the Customer confirms they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, and authorises Airlie Beach Lounge Hire to charge their nominated card for any applicable loss, damage, cleaning, or replacement fees.
